Today we went to
Yunan Nationalities Village. When we reach there, they had an opening performance for the tourist. When we were in there, we saw
tentages for the
mogolians,
buddist temple and many others. The scenery there was wonderful :D
There were small stalls selling traditional
souvenirs and there were game stalls to play too.
Some played the archery, darts, shooting of cans. Many of them won prizes such as umbrella and small pouch.
When we were there, there were short performances to entertain the tourist. Most of our
EVSS students volunteered to join the dance. The small shops over there sold many interesting things that tempted us to buy. Most of us bought umbrellas, the boys bought fans and wooden swords. Brenna and
Namirah bought shoes too (:
Aftermass, we head for lunch. The
Muslim students went to the
Aladin restaurant while the Chinese students went to another restaurant. The food was
sumptious.
Next we went to the Yunnan
Luyu Tea Culture Exchange Centre. We tasted 4 different types of tea. We tried and they gave a discount to us at a very cheap price. There were 5 students who compressed the tea leaves to shape it into a pancake like shape which is so called a traditional way of packaging. It costs 200
RMB. Majority of us bought the tea leaves there and they gave us a lot of free gifts.
We went shopping too, everybody were
seperated into groups. We spent about 1hour and 10minutes. We had a lot of fun window shopping. The
malay students and
chinese students went
seperated ways again. We
chinese students had their dinner at
KFC instead of a restaurant but the Malay students went back to the same restaurant and had a private room.
